لهيبٌ في القلب-
رصاصٌ يقطع صمتي؛
أعانقُ رمادك!
.
وردٌ بين أنقاض-
يحترق باسم حبٍّ؛
لا يُطفئه موت!
.
في صفير الرصاص-
ينمو شوقي كجمرٍ؛
لا يعرف هدنة!
.
دمعةٌ تحترق-
بين دخان المدافع؛
وتزهر قبلة!
.
نارُك في عروقي-
والحربُ تستعر حولي؛
أحيا باحتراق!
.
بين حربٍ وصمت-
يتقد الحب سرًّا؛
كشمسٍ محاصرة!

“Whistle of Embers”

A blaze in my heart—
Bullets shatter my silence;
I embrace your ashes.

.
Roses in ruins—
Burning in the name of love;
Death cannot quench it.

.
In the whistle of fire—
My longing grows like embers;
It knows no truce.

.
A tear burning bright—
Amid the smoke of cannons;
A kiss comes to bloom.

.
Your fire in my veins—
While the war rages around;
I live by burning.

.
Between war and hush—
Love ignites in secrecy;
A besieged sunlight.
